Technical Manager Application Development

Experience: 10 Years.

Location: Pune.

Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST / 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM IST.

Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead application development teams delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Python, Full Stack Development, and SQL, along with proven experience in project delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor Software Engineers, Full Stack Developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture.
- Drive employee development, performance management, and succession planning.

2. Delivery & Project Management:

- Own end-to-end application delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and business alignment.
- Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and release management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams.

Technical

Leadership:

- Provide technical direction for applications built using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), Python, Full Stack Technologies (React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript), and SQL Databases.
- Guide architecture, code reviews, best practices, scalability, and performance improvements.

4.

Engineering

Excellence:

- Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and secure coding practices.
- Monitor delivery KPIs, development productivity, and quality metrics.
- Lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Required Qualifications:





- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of IT experience with 5 years in application delivery and 3 years in people management.
- Strong experience leading application development teams and enterprise projects.

Technical Skills:

Must Have:

- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Python Development.
- Full Stack Development (React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript).
- SQL and Database Design.
- REST APIs, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD.
- Jira, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.

Nice to Have:

- .NET.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- Kafka or other messaging platforms.

Preferred Certifications:

- PMP / PRINCE2.
- Scrum Master / Secure.
- AWS / Azure / GCP Certifications.
