Role Description The Storekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based at Rajadhani Institute of Science and Technology in Kerala, India. This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling. The Storekeeper will manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, and organize storage areas for easy access and efficient space utilization.

Day-to-day tasks include packing and dispatching materials as required, coordinating with departments for timely issue of items, and maintaining clear,



updated records of all store transactions. The role also involves following safety procedures, operating material handling equipment when needed, and supporting periodic audits of inventory.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in any stream
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management, including maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring reorder levels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading, with the ability to handle, sort, and prepare materials for storage or distribution safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or similar material handling equipment, with adherence to safety guidelines and proper loading practices.
- Basic computer skills for using Inventory tools, Excel, and documentation tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and reliability in handling institutional property.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative departments.
