Pawsworld is looking for a responsible, energetic and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the store. The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring excellent customer service, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Performance

- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly store sales targets.
- Monitor individual staff performance and productivity.
- Improve sales conversion, average bill value and repeat customer sales.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions as directed by management.
- Ensure company discount and pricing policies are followed.

Team Management

- Supervise and coordinate the sales team.
- Allocate daily duties and responsibilities.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and discipline.
- Train staff on products, customer service and sales techniques.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Ensure employees follow Pawsworld SOPs.

Store Operations

- Ensure the store is clean, organized and professionally maintained.
- Ensure shelves and displays are properly arranged and stocked.
- Supervise opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure all daily checklists are completed.
- Handle operational issues and escalate major issues to management.

Inventory Management

- Monitor stock levels and identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
- Coordinate stock receiving and verification.
- Monitor expiry dates and damaged products.




- Minimize stock discrepancies, wastage and product losses.
- Ensure proper inventory records are maintained.

Customer Service

- Ensure every customer receives prompt and professional assistance.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues appropriately.
- Build relationships with regular pet parents.
- Encourage repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
- Ensure staff provide accurate product information.

Reporting & Administration

- Submit daily/weekly sales and operational reports.
- Monitor store expenses and minimize unnecessary costs.
- Maintain accurate billing and payment procedures.
- Report stock shortages, operational problems and staff issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the Head of Sales, Marketing & Operations regarding store performance.

KPIs The Store Manager will be evaluated based on:
- Sales target achievement
- Gross margin/profitability
- Average bill value
- Customer retention and repeat sales
- Staff productivity
- Attendance and punctuality
- Inventory accuracy
- Stock loss/wastage
- Customer satisfaction
- SOP compliance
- Overall store performance
