POSITION:- STEEL FIXER

Worked as a Steel Fixer with 1-3 years of experience, your role will involve ensuring the proper Steel Fixing work as per Drawing.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Planning of Steel Fixing activities as per the production schedule.
- Co-Ordinate work with operators, welders, fitters, and fabrication teams to achieve daily targets.
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure fabrication is carried out as per specifications.
- Monitor welding, cutting, machining, assembly, and finishing operations to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, tools, and materials.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time completion of jobs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and valuable housekeeping practices on the shop floor.
- Minimize material wastage, rework, and production downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

- ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience





- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory).
- Experience in Sheet metal fabrication, process equipment, or industrial machinery manufacturing is preferred.
