n About the Role:
n
n We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical U.S. Accountant to join our finance team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, a solid understanding of U.S. accounting principles, and experience in financial reporting and accounting operations.
n
n This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, supporting tax compliance, and working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
n
n Key Responsibilities:
n
n n Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
n Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end closing.
n Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
n Handle accruals, amortization, reversals, GL mapping, and Chart of Accounts.
n Manage controlling accounts, account finalization, and FX transactions.
n Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
n Support preparation and filing of U.S. federal and state tax returns.




n Assist with internal and external audits and maintain accurate financial records.
n Collaborate with internal teams and provide financial insights to management.

n Requirements:
n
n n Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
n Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
n Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
n Good understanding of U.S. accounting principles and financial reporting.
n Knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, accruals, amortization, and month-end closing.
n Exposure to U.S. federal and state tax compliance is preferred.
n Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
n Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
