Nokia’s Autonomous Network (AN) organization is building intelligent platforms and applications to enable AI-driven Autonomous Networks. As part of this journey, the AN Portal Platform provides reusable UI components, common services, and a unified environment for delivering scalable, AI-native use cases across domains.

As a Sr Software Architect for AN Portal Platform, you will shape the platform architecture across frontend and backend, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership, mentoring, and end-to-end delivery across SaaS and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design and implementation of the AN Portal Platform across frontend and backend, translating product and architecture vision into actionable delivery plans.
- Define scalable, secure, reusable, and extensible platform architecture covering UI components, backend services, APIs, observability, and non-functional requirements.
- Enable a shared platform for multiple AN applications, supporting consistent engineering practices and cross-domain, subscriber-centric data analysis.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex features, integrations, architecture challenges, and critical implementation areas.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, platform teams, and dependent application teams to align interfaces, dependencies, priorities, and delivery plans.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, CI/CD, release readiness, operational supportability, and effective use of AI-assisted development tools.




- Mentor engineers and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative, and quality-focused engineering team.
- Own technical planning, estimation, risk management, issue resolution, and delivery across SaaS, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

You have:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with 8–12 years of relevant software engineering experience in modern web application and platform design and development.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise portals, shared platforms, or platform-facing applications, with strong expertise across frontend/backend architecture, API-driven design, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms and up-to-date software delivery practices, including CI/CD, observability, security, deployment automation, and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring skills, with familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

Nice to have:

- Experience developing portal platforms for analytics, operations, or telecom/network environments, with an understanding of cross-domain data workflows, operational dashboards, and subscriber-centric experiences.
- Familiarity with AI/Agentic AI experiences, AI-native operational platforms, automation systems, or autonomous network solutions.
- Knowledge of telecom domains such as LTE, 5G, RAN, Core, OSS/BSS, or service orchestration, along with experience in Kubernetes, hybrid deployments, and platform integration.
