Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

- Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the plant/facility.

- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns to ensure smooth operations.

- Lead mechanical installation, commissioning, and modification projects.

- Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and reports.

- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

- Coordinate with the electrical and production departments for smooth plant operations.

- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement.

- Train and mentor junior mechanical staff and technicians.

- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair jobs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience in maintenance and operations.

- Robust knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.

- Should have a good knowledge in Conveyor Belt

- Ability to work in Kharagpur, West Bengal.
