Summary

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Java Backend Engineer (6–12 Years) on behalf of our premier technology client. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional architecture and product teams to design, implement, and optimize distributed platform solutions. Operating under cell-based architecture principles, you will write high-throughput server-side code, manage cloud integrations, and enforce rigorous automated delivery standards to maintain robust platform stability.

Responsibilities

- Technical Execution: Write clean, maintainable, highly efficient, and testable server-side code that meets strict platform performance demands.
- Architecture Alignment: Collaborate with architects and senior leaders to design and implement backend workflows aligned with cell-based architecture patterns.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work seamlessly across geographic and organizational boundaries to define product requirements, scope technical goals, and integrate functional layers.
- Code Quality & Governance: Perform deep-dive testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure top-tier software security, readability, and performance.
- Production Operations: Participate in engineering on-call rotations and provide production support to proactively maintain platform stability.
- Documentation Control:



Author and preserve comprehensive technical documentation for internal systems to accelerate future development tracks.

Mandatory Skills

- Core Language: Proficient, hands-on production experience using Java as the primary server-side language.
- Cloud Platform: Active development and deployment experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
- Database Management: Solid working knowledge of schema design, indexing, and querying in MySQL.
- DevOps Foundation: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and modern automated deployment tools.

Highly Advantageous & Preferred Skills:

- Proficiency in secondary server-side languages such as Go (Golang), Node.js, or Python.
- Concrete knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S protocols.
- Familiarity with distributed cloud monitoring, tracing, and logging ecosystems.

Experience & Qualifications

- Overall Experience: 6 to 12 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical thinking, sharp problem-solving capabilities, and clear communication skills to articulate technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
