SPRR Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced MS Access Database Developer / Consultant to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot an existing Microsoft Access-based business application.

The candidate will work on an existing database used for quotation management, reporting, and business operations. The role involves understanding the current database structure, fixing existing issues, developing new functionality, and implementing minor changes as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop functionality to open a previous quotation and create a new quotation based on the existing one, while keeping the original quotation unchanged.
- Modify quotation numbers, customer names, project details, pricing, and other relevant information.
- Update and modify names, customer information, project details, and other records within the database.
- Work with existing MS Access tables, relationships, queries, forms, subforms, and reports.
- Review and repair broken or changed database links and re-establish required connections.
- Troubleshoot linked tables, ODBC connections, and external database connectivity.
- Review existing reports and ensure that all required reports are working correctly and generating accurate information.
- Troubleshoot and modify queries, forms, reports, relationships, and VBA code where required.
- Develop or modify SQL queries to support business requirements.
- Make minor changes and enhancements to the application as new requirements arise.
- Maintain database integrity and ensure that changes do not affect existing functionality.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely solutions.




- Work independently with an existing/legacy database and understand the application structure with limited documentation.
- Document significant changes and enhancements made to the database.

Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Access Database Development.
- Solid knowledge of MS Access VBA.
- Experience with Access tables, relationships, queries, forms, subforms, and reports.
- Strong SQL query development and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with linked tables and external database connections.
- Knowledge of ODBC and database connectivity.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing existing/legacy MS Access applications.
- Good understanding of database relationships and data integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with existing code and database structures and make targeted modifications safely.

Good to Have
- Experience with quotation or estimation systems.
- Experience with business or manufacturing databases.
- Knowledge of SQL Server or MySQL.
- Experience integrating MS Access with Excel.
- Experience with data import/export and database migration.
- Experience supporting business applications.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on MS Access Developer who can quickly understand an existing database, identify problems, fix reports and links, modify VBA/SQL, and implement new requirements without disrupting the current application. Candidates with strong experience in MS Access + VBA + SQL + Reports + Database Troubleshooting will be preferred.
