Role Overview

We are looking for a highly execution-driven Dispatch Head to lead and scale our dispatch operations across warehouses and fulfillment centers. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-productive order dispatch, while maintaining high standards of customer experience.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in logistics, warehouse dispatch, team management, and process optimization, especially in a quick-paced D2C or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Operations Management
Own end-to-end dispatch operations across all warehouses and fulfillment centers
Ensure timely order processing and dispatch as per SLA commitments
Monitor daily dispatch targets, backlog, and order prioritization
Team Leadership & Workforce Planning
Lead, train, and manage dispatch teams across locations
Drive productivity, efficiency, and accountability within teams
Plan manpower allocation based on order volumes and seasonality
Process Optimization & Efficiency
Identify process gaps and implement SOPs to improve dispatch efficiency
Drive automation and system adoption in dispatch workflows
Continuously improve turnaround time (TAT) and reduce errors




Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, logistics, and customer experience teams
Work closely with last-mile partners to ensure smooth handover
Align dispatch plans with sales, demand planning, and supply chain teams
Quality & Accuracy Control
Ensure high order accuracy and minimal dispatch errors
Implement quality checks and audit mechanisms before shipment
Reduce RTO (Return to Origin) due to dispatch-related issues
MIS & Performance Tracking
Track and report key metrics: dispatch TAT, order accuracy, backlog, productivity
Analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements
Share daily/weekly/monthly reports with leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate (MBA preferred)
6–10 years of experience in dispatch/logistics/warehouse operations
Prior experience in D2C, e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing industry preferred
Robust leadership and team management skills
Hands-on experience with WMS/OMS systems
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
