Job Role: Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer

Location: Pune

Remuneration: - 800 to 1200 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer to deliver a structured 12-week automation testing program for learners under the CapgeminiBarclays PMIS initiative.

The trainer will deliver classroom and hands-on sessions covering software testing fundamentals, JavaScript, Playwright, API testing, Git, CI/CD, automation frameworks, projects, and technical interview preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical training on Software Testing, JavaScript, and Playwright.
- Conduct hands-on labs, coding exercises, assessments, projects, and code reviews.
- Train learners on API testing, Git, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
- Mentor learners through mini-projects and capstone projects.
- Track learner performance, identify gaps, and provide remediation support.
- Prepare learners for Capgemini technical interviews.
- Maintain training quality, learner records, and reporting on LMS/TMS platforms.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- 2+ years hands-on automation experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright.
- Robust knowledge of JavaScript, async/await, POM, fixtures, locators, assertions, network mocking, and parallel execution.
- Experience in REST API testing, Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and reporting tools such as Allure.
- Minimum 2 years of technical training or mentoring experience.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Selenium automation experience with exposure to Playwright.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
- BFSI / Financial Services project experience.
- TypeScript, Docker, mobile, or accessibility testing knowledge.
- Experience training freshers or early-career learners.

The trainer will be expected to complete EduBridge's prescribed TTT and certification process before batch deployment.
