Role & Responsibilities:

- Understand software requirements and prepare test estimations.
- Review and analyse system specifications and requirements.
- Ensure that all testing activities are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures such as test case design, execution, and traceability matrix.
- Take ownership of preparing all testing documentations including test strategy, test plans, test cases/scripts and bug reports assessing quality and share associated risk with stakeholders.
- Participate in walk through of requirements.
- Communicate impediments, issues, and blockers on time.
- Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
- Utilize internal defect tracking tool JIRA to log and track application defects and feature requests in the current release under test, verify that the corresponding defect fixes perform correctly, and ensure that any other features impacted by the code change are regression tested.
- Ready to support multiple product lines and flexible to switch on need basis across product lines.




- Perform both functional manual testing of application API and features.
- Good with basic Database and Oracle/SQL.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies/concepts like functional, integration, system test, performance testing, security testing, load testing, black box testing, smoke, integration, regression, constructive, and destructive.
- Should have knowhow of component, integration tests, Jenkins, and Maven (Continuous integration build).
- Good to have knowledge of tools chain: Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Bit bucket, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence, Enterprise Tester, JMeter, Docker, and SSL.

Payments:

- End to End Payment processing.
- Experience working on SWIFT, FEEDWIRE, NACHA/ACH, FEDWNOW and RTP payments.
- Have knowledge of payment processing engines.
- Cross Border payment processing, RTGS, and NEFT.

API Testing:

- Responsible for testing Web Service and automation.
- Must have knowledge in SOAP UI/ RestAPI/ Postman/ Swagger/ ReadyAPI or any other API Testing tool.
- Positive to have knowledge on Automating API Testing.
