We are responsible for testing all the Products and Technologies developed by enterprise application Engineering teams. We are knowledgeable about all enterprise applications services, products, and technologies. We focus on real-world, end-to-end testing to ensure all of Akamai's Systems integrate well. We work on automated testing infrastructure and systematic test case tracking to increase efficiency within SDET processes.

You will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working with developers and other SDET teams you will become an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure. You will ensure exceptional performance of products used by customers to deliver the best of class experience.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

- Working with management and architects to shape test strategies to meet the business needs.
- Working with Business Analysts, developers and creating test plans and test cases for current requirements/change requests/projects.
- Driving and effectively execute the team's roadmap; dissect high- level requirements into quantifiable test plans and give accurate estimates.
- Designing and developing and execute test suites for diverse types of testing including database, API, integration,



and performance with traceability.
- Identifying, evaluating, and automating the possible test cases using relevant automation tools.
- Designing And execute Integration testing across platforms and applications using techniques like python automation, batch processing, shell scripting etc.

Do what you love. To be successful in this role you will:

- Have B. Tech or MCA (or equally) qualified with overall 1 to 3 years of Experience in QA.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA life cycle and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience testing cloud-based ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Financials Cloud, Salesforce), including end-to-end functional, API, and integration validation.
- Good experience working with SQL for developing and analyzing complex queries.
- Should have good understanding and knowledge about industry standard test management and ALM tools and should have good hands-on experience on any one industry standard tools. (Ex: JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, MTMetc.)
- Good experience in developing and improving test automation in Python.
- proactively investigate issues through log analysis, root-cause debugging, and continuous quality improvements
- Should have an understanding and usage of tools like Jenkins.
- Should have an understanding and usage of version control tools like git.
- Have knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
- Should have ability to visualize a feature end-to-end with diligence and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
