Relevant Experience: 2+ years in spare parts planning, MRO, or manufacturing engineering
Detailed Statement of Work
BoM Intake & Validation: Receive BoMs from OEMs/process engineers; validate against standards and return non conforming ones with feedback.
Real-World Inventory Recommendations: Recommend stocking strategies based on field data failure history, downtime impact, and maintenance feedbackrather than relying solely on OEM lists.
Scrub Meetings: Support and contribute to scrub meetings with maintenance, engineering, and procurement to decide inventory strategy (stock vs. non-stock, min/max) using real equipment performance data.
Criticality Assessment: Apply basic criticality ranking (e.g., downtime-cost-based) to prioritize on-hand inventory vs. lead-time procurement.
Sourcing Support: Assist in gathering pricing/lead-time info from OEMs and CMS.
ERP Codification: Create part codes in ERP under supervision.
Continuous Improvement: Track inventory outcomes (stockouts, excess, obsolescence) and apply lessons to future recommendations.
Documentation: Maintain records of approvals, decisions, and rationale for audits.
Should be able to handle the project independently

Demonstrates a personal commitment to Quality, Delivery and Cost Skills Required:
Basic BoM and ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle or similar)
Ability to turn maintenance/reliability data into practical inventory decisions
Familiarity with CNC/industrial equipment
Analytical mindset; comfortable engaging shop-floor staff for field insights
Positive communication skills; proficient in Excel
Willingness to learn inventory techniques (criticality ranking, safety stock)
