Job Title: Lab Technician – Pre-Treatment (PT)

Department: Pre-Treatment / Surface Treatment

Location: Malumichampatti, Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analysis of Pre-Treatment bath solutions.
Monitor and maintain chemical concentration, pH, temperature, and other process parameters.
Perform regular testing of cleaning, phosphating/coating, and rinsing baths.
Prepare chemical solutions and reagents as per process requirements.
Maintain daily laboratory test records and chemical analysis reports.
Coordinate with the PT production team for chemical dosing and bath correction.
Monitor water quality and support ETP-related testing when required.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of laboratory chemicals.
Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and housekeeping.




Follow safety procedures and environmental requirements while handling chemicals.
Report abnormal test results and process deviations to the supervisor.

Qualification:
B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or relevant qualification.
Freshers can also apply.
Experience in Pre-Treatment / Surface Treatment / Powder Coating will be an added advantage.

Key Skills:
Basic knowledge of chemical analysis and titration.
Knowledge of pH measurement and chemical concentration testing.
Positive documentation and record-keeping skills.
Basic knowledge of chemical handling and safety.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/production setting.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
