Position: Site Supervisor / Labour Supervisor / Manpower Supervisor
Department: Project Execution – Solar Power Project
Job Location: Bhatiya, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat
Reporting To: Site Engineer / Project Engineer
Salary: ₹20,000/- to ₹30,000/- per month, based on experience, skills, suitability, and interview performance
Facilities: Free Guest House Accommodation & Free Site Transportation

Job Purpose The Site Supervisor / Labour Supervisor / Manpower Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, manpower mobilization and deployment, labour productivity, attendance, discipline, and workforce coordination. The position will support the Site Engineer / Project Engineer in achieving daily and overall project targets while maintaining required quality, safety, productivity, and project timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Labour Sourcing & Team Management
1. Candidate should preferably be capable of joining the project with an existing labour team.
2. Source, arrange, coordinate, and mobilize manpower according to project requirements.
3. Maintain adequate labour strength throughout the assigned project period.
4. Ensure daily attendance, discipline, punctuality, productivity, and performance of the assigned workforce.
5. Arrange additional manpower whenever required to meet project requirements.
6. Ensure assigned activities are completed by the team according to instructions, quality requirements, and project timelines.
7. Preference will be given to candidates having their own established labour network/team and the ability to mobilize manpower at short notice.
2. Manpower Deployment
1. Deploy manpower according to the approved daily work plan.
2. Ensure adequate manpower availability at different work fronts.
3. Allocate and reallocate manpower based on work priorities.
4.
Coordinate manpower requirements with the Site Engineer / Project Engineer.
5. Minimize manpower shortages and disruptions to project execution.
3. Site & Labour Supervision
1. Supervise daily site activities and labour operations.
2. Monitor work progress, quality, and productivity.
3. Ensure assigned work is performed according to project specifications and instructions.
4. Guide workers during project execution.
5. Escalate site-related issues to the Site Engineer / Project Engineer as required.
4. Attendance & Workforce Management
1. Maintain accurate daily manpower attendance.
2. Record absenteeism, late reporting, and manpower movement.
3. Submit daily attendance and manpower reports to the concerned Site Engineer.
4. Coordinate with HR/Admin for workforce-related requirements.
5. Maintain basic manpower and deployment records.
5. Daily Work Planning
1. Receive daily work instructions and targets from the Site Engineer / Project Engineer.
2. Conduct work briefings before commencement of activities.
3. Allocate manpower according to work priorities.
4. Communicate daily targets clearly to the workforce.
5. Ensure assigned work is completed within scheduled timelines.
6. Productivity Monitoring
1. Monitor daily labour productivity and work output.
2. Ensure optimum utilization of available manpower.
3. Identify productivity gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
4. Monitor progress against assigned daily targets.
5.
Support achievement of project milestones within planned timelines.
7. Housekeeping Supervision
1. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
2. Ensure proper collection and disposal of scrap and waste materials.
3. Keep work areas safe and free from unnecessary obstructions.
4. Ensure the workforce follows site housekeeping requirements.
8. Discipline & Workforce Coordination
1. Maintain discipline and professional conduct among workers.
2. Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
3. Address routine labour-related issues at the site level.
4. Escalate reliable disciplinary or workforce-related matters to the concerned management.
5. Maintain effective coordination between workers, Supervisors, Engineers, HR/Admin, and other concerned departments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
1. 12th Pass
2. ITI – Any Relevant Trade
3. Diploma – Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or relevant discipline
4. Any Graduate
Candidates with relevant experience in Solar Power, Industrial Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Transmission Line, Wind Power, Infrastructure, or EPC Projects will be preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
Site Supervision, Labour Supervision, Manpower Management, Manpower Mobilization, Workforce Management, Construction Site Coordination, or Project Site Operations.
