The Sanskriti School, Bhopal is looking for an organized and proactive Librarian to manage the school library and support students and staff in their academic and research needs. The candidate should be familiar with up-to-date library management practices and committed to fostering a reading culture among students.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library, including cataloguing, circulation, and inventory.
Maintain digital and physical library records using library management software.
Assist students and teachers in locating and using library resources effectively.
Develop and implement reading programs, book clubs, and library activities to promote reading habits.
Organize recent book acquisitions, subscriptions, and resource updates.
Ensure proper maintenance of library infrastructure, books, and digital resources.
Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-based reading and research projects.




Train students on information literacy, research techniques, and proper referencing.
Maintain a quiet, orderly, and conducive setting for learning.
Prepare reports on library usage, book stock, and resource requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science.
Knowledge of digital library systems and cataloguing techniques.
Experience in a school or educational institution is preferred.

Required Skills
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage students and teachers in library activities.
Familiarity with library software, databases, and e-resources.
Attention to detail and a passion for books and learning.

Location: The Sanskriti School, Bhopal.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
