Position: Operations & Maintenance Manager / Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance professional to manage the secure, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of a gas-based Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day plant operations and maintenance activities.
Ensure reliable operation of Gas Turbine, HRSG, Steam Turbine, Generator and Balance of Plant (BoP) systems.
Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
Lead plant start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting and emergency response activities.
Monitor plant performance, availability, heat rate and fuel efficiency.
Coordinate major inspections, overhauls and maintenance shutdowns with OEMs and contractors.
Manage maintenance teams, contractors, spares and maintenance budgets.
Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental and Nigerian statutory requirements.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Prepare operational, maintenance and performance reports.

Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
8–15+ years of experience in power plant O&M;, preferably in gas-based CCPPs.
Strong hands-on experience with Gas Turbine, HRSG and Steam Turbine systems.
Experience in plant operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and major overhauls.
Good knowledge of DCS, electrical systems, instrumentation and Balance of Plant equipment.
Solid leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with OEMs/EPC contractors is an advantage.
Willingness to work in Nigeria and in a plant/shift environment.

Pay: ₹19,745.50 - ₹95,000.00 per month
