Mechanical Technician (Utilities & Maintenance)

Position: Mechanical Technician

Department: Maintenance / Utilities

Location: Generator Manufacturing Unit

Qualification
ITI (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Any relevant Mechanical Diploma

Experience Required
Experience in maintenance and operation of mechanical utility systems.
Basic to medium level knowledge of electrical systems.
Knowledge of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operations and maintenance.
Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment and utility systems.
Preferred industry background: Textile, Foundry, Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Utilities.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain utility systems including STP, WTP, and ETP.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Monitor pumps, motors, pipelines, compressors, and associated utility equipment.




Coordinate with electrical maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and utility consumption reports.
Support production teams by ensuring uninterrupted utility availability.
