Job Summary The Patient Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient visits, appointments, consultations, investigations, treatments, billing, and follow-ups. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to provide excellent patient support throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist patients and their attendants in a qualified and courteous manner.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, consultations, scans, procedures, and follow-up visits.
Explain the treatment process, appointment schedules, and required investigations to patients.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, embryologists, lab, pharmacy, billing, and other departments.
Ensure patient registration and case records are completed accurately.
Follow up with patients regarding appointments, investigations, treatment schedules, and review visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
Assist patients with billing, payment, package details, and required approvals.
Coordinate patient flow and minimize waiting time.
Handle patient queries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.




Make follow-up calls and maintain patient communication through phone/WhatsApp as per hospital policy.
Support patient counselling and ensure that patients understand the next steps in their treatment.
Coordinate with the pharmacy and laboratory whenever required.
Prepare daily/weekly patient follow-up reports and other administrative reports.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and patient-care standards.
Provide a positive and supportive experience to patients throughout their treatment.

Required Skills
Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
Positive interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office/Excel.
Good coordination and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple patients.
Solid attention to detail and documentation.
Previous experience in a hospital, IVF centre, fertility clinic, or healthcare organization is preferred.

Educational Qualification Minimum: Any Degree / Diploma

Experience: 1–3 years in hospital/healthcare/IVF patient coordination preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
