OPERATIONS MANAGER

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in retail operations and/or MEP project management, preferably in a multi-site or fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Robust technical knowledge, electrical power systems, lighting, and plumbing.
Soft Skills: Exce lent leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and time management ski ls. Ability to work colaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a agile retail workplace.

KEY DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of an Operations Manager in a retail textile store combines general retail operations management with specialized expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and

Plumbing (MEP) systems.

The successful candidate ensures the store runs efficiently, safely, and profitably,

while also managing maintenance, and compliance of al building systems.

MEP SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT




Maintenance &
Troubleshooting: Develop and administer preventative maintenance and inspection programs for al MEP assets (lighting, power supply,

plumbing, fire alarms, etc.) to ensure minimum downtime.
Quality Control &
Standards: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks of

MEP instalations, ensuring al work meets industry standards and approved specifications.
Energy Management &
Sustainability: Recommend and implement energy-efficient and costeffective systems and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and the store's environmental impact.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with third-party consultants, MEP contractors, and suppliers, monitoring their performance and ensuring timely delivery of services.
Scrap Maintenance: Regularly disposal of scrap, generated in store operation of market rate.
