Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer responsible for ensuring that manufactured components and processes meet required quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and specifications.
Perform dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
Identify quality issues, defects, rejection, and rework.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate with production, machining, and engineering teams to resolve quality problems.
Prepare and maintain inspection plans, check sheets, and quality documentation.
Support first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Handle customer complaints and assist in corrective action reports.
Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
Conduct process and product audits as required.
Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection and improve product quality.




Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Good knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
Experience with precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and CAPA.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is preferred.
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining quality inspection is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.
2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance preferred.
Experience in machining, automotive, engineering, or precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
