The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations of UPVC or Aluminium window production, ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality products. This role is critical in maintaining production schedules, optimizing resources, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities:

Reporting to : Production Head
Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement production strategies to meet production targets and quality standards.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment usage, to meet budgetary targets
Minimize production downtime and waste to maximize profitability
Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
Ensure a secure and inclusive work setting, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability
Collaborate closely with the Production Manager, Quality Control team, and Maintenance team to ensure smooth production processes
Coordinate with the procurement department for the timely availability of raw materials




Communicate with external vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials
Interact with customers or customer service teams to address production-related queries and concerns.

Desired profile:
Manpower Handling ( Min of 50 to 80 People's) ( Should be capable to lead the team) - Skill on Lean manufacturing ( Waste Management, VA & NVA Analysis, Line Balancing, Bottleneck management
Knowledge on TPM , 5's - Participation on Quality Circle's ( Knowledge & Worked with the Quality tools)
Knowledge & Exposure on OEE ( Overall Equipment Effectiveness) - Knowledge & Exposure on Just in time concepts
Should have handled any productivity improvement projects
Analytical skill using Excel or other soft tools
Soft skill like Presentation making
Problem solving skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Positive communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Knowledge of UPVC or Aluminium window manufacturing processes and equipment would be preferred
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling process
Understanding of quality control processes and standards
