Key Responsibilities Direct Procurement
Manage end-to-end procurement of production materials and components for manufacturing requirements.
Handle sourcing of automotive parts, raw materials, assemblies and other production-related categories.
Conduct RFQs, cost analysis, price benchmarking and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
Identify, evaluate and develop competitive suppliers in line with quality, cost and delivery requirements.
Drive cost reduction, localisation, VA/VE and productivity improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D;, Engineering and Supply Chain for material and supplier requirements.
Ensure timely supplier nomination, PO placement and material availability as per production plans.
Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery and capacity.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, commercial controls and supplier development standards.
