We’re Something Bigger, and we’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Video Editor to join our Mumbai team. You’ll help bring powerful ideas to life through video.

Experience: 4–7 years

You

- 4–7 years of skilled video editing experience, with a strong focus on long-form content.
- A storyteller first - you can shape a 90-minute conversation into a compelling episode with strong pacing and emotional flow.
- An experienced editor who enjoys mentoring, coaching, and developing other Video Editors.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a bonus).
- You understand YouTube retention and audience engagement, and you edit with performance in mind.
- Experience with podcasts, interviews, or cinematic storytelling is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve editing workflows.
- Highly organised, take ownership, meet deadlines, and continuously look for ways to improve.
- You're driven by purpose and want your work to create a positive impact.

Responsibilities

- Edit full podcast episodes, trailers, and promotional content to a high standard.
- Transform raw interviews into engaging stories with strong pacing, audio, colour, graphics, and emotional flow.
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of the Video Editing team, helping raise the quality of every edit.
- Maintain editing standards, workflows,



and creative consistency across all content.
- Allocate work, ensure projects are delivered on time, and continuously improve team efficiency.
- Use audience insights and YouTube metrics to improve retention and overall content performance.
- Stay ahead of editing trends and bring fresh creative ideas to the team.
