Skills and Qualifications
Any Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
Exceptional problem-solving and math skills
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in mechanical design software i.e. Solidworks is an additional advantage.
Product-focused creative thinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of industry design principles.
Ability to operate in a quick-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities.
A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities
Engineering Procurement: Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) for mechanical assemblies and identify reliable vendors for precision components, raw materials, and custom-machined parts.
Technical Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the Mechanical Design team and vendors to ensure clear communication regarding design intent, tolerances, and material specifications.
Vendor Development: Identify, audit, and onboard specialized vendors capable of handling complex SPM projects, ensuring they meet our quality and delivery standards.
Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, lead times,



and payment terms while maintaining a focus on total cost of ownership and engineering quality.
Drawing Interpretation: Review detailed assembly drawings and sketches to provide inputs to vendors on manufacturing feasibility and cost-saving alternatives.
Quality Inspection Support: Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that incoming custom-fabricated components strictly adhere to GD&T; (Geometric Dimension and Tolerance) specifications.
Project Expediting: Monitor the fabrication lifecycle of critical machine components and proactively resolve supply bottlenecks to meet project milestones.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, recent manufacturing technologies, and material availability to support the engineering team in design iterations.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
