Role & responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials and verify them against drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
Conduct in-process and final inspection of machined components.
Check dimensions using instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
Prepare inspection reports, dimensional reports, and other quality-related documents.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Identify non-conforming materials/components and coordinate with the production team for corrective action.
Perform visual and dimensional inspection at various stages of production.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and calibration records.
Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.




Support customer inspections and audits when required.
Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and components.
Follow company quality procedures and ISO requirements.

Required Skills
Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to identify and analyze quality issues.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
