Roles & Responsibilities:
Handle NPD purchase activities for automotive electronic components such as PCB/PCBA, displays, connectors, sensors, switches, ICs, and other electronics.
Coordinate with R&D;, Project, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams for current product development and launch.
Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.
Ensure timely availability of prototype, pilot, and production materials.
Develop current suppliers and support localization / alternate source development.
Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
Support APQP, PPAP, and recent project approval activities.
Track BOM cost and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Manage engineering change requirements related to procurement.
Report project and sourcing status to the HOD Electronics Purchase.
