UK&Co; is a management consulting firm with over three decades of experience. We work primarily with FMCG organisations in the private sector, focusing on family-managed businesses that are regional market leaders with robust commitments to product quality and people.

UK&Co; helps small and medium family businesses scale and builds the thought leadership around why they matter to India's economic story. We're looking for a Research Associate / Manager with an investigative journalism instinct: someone who chases a thread until it unravels into a story nobody else was telling.

What you'll work on
Industry Deep-Dives — Consumer goods, foundries, manufacturing, retail. Research that directly shapes strategy for the businesses we work with daily.
Government of Karnataka Think Tank Work — Contributing to reports on the Trillion Dollar Economy,

jobs, the gig workforce, and healthcare policy. Research with a direct line to public policy.
A Content Portal, Built from Scratch — Podcasts, blogs,



and sharp reports for our partner businesses — including how shocks like war ripple through specific industries. Real creative ownership, not a template calendar.

Who we're looking for
Background in investigative journalism, research, or policy analysis
Genuine curiosity about family businesses and India's economic engine room
Equally comfortable with hard data and compelling storytelling
Wants a career in research, not a pit stop
Self-starter — this function is being built, so you'll shape it
