Job title : Senior Sous Chef - Pastry

Location : Work with our Central Kitchen team in Govandi location.

Shifts : 6 days ,9 hours(Roaster based)

We need a creative and skilled Senior Sous Chef - Pastry for our central kitchen. You will lead the pastry team and manage daily production. You will create high-quality baked goods and desserts for our retail bakery chain. You will also keep food costs low and maintain high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Management: Oversee daily pastry and bakery operations at the central kitchen. Ensure timely dispatch of items to all retail outlets.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP) across the kitchen.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule pastry staff. Build a strong and effective kitchen team.
- Inventory Control: Monitor raw material stock.



Manage waste and control food production costs without losing quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper use and regular upkeep of all heavy-duty bakery equipment.

Requirements & Skills

- Experience: 10 to 12 years of pastry experience. At least 3 years must be in a supervisory role within a high-volume central kitchen, hotel, or large bakery retail chain.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Bakery, or Pastry Arts.
- Core Skills: Expert knowledge of baking science, chocolate work, viennoiserie, and dessert plating.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
