We are looking for a Dynamic, organized, and student-friendly School Librarian to manage and develop our school library into an engaging learning and knowledge resource for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
Organize, catalogue, and maintain books, journals, digital resources, and reference materials.
Assist students and teachers in locating appropriate books and learning resources.
Encourage students to develop regular reading habits through engaging library activities.
Maintain accurate records of books, issues, returns, and recent acquisitions.
Recommend and procure relevant books and educational resources.
Conduct reading programs, book clubs, storytelling sessions, and other library activities.
Ensure the library remains clean, well-organized, welcoming, and student-friendly.
Support teachers and students with research and academic resource requirements.




Implement and maintain an efficient library management system.

Candidate Profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Library & Information Science (BLIS/MLIS) or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience as a School Librarian will be preferred.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Comfortable working with students and school staff.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital library resources.
Passion for books, reading, and creating a positive learning environment.
