Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of IMPS/AEPS/NETC/CTS platforms
Drive system improvements in performance, scalability, and resilience
Ensure regulatory compliance and secure system design
Own API lifecycle management and service governance
Implement AI-assisted development practices responsibly
Define standards for AI adoption in engineering workflows




Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices & automation
Build and operate high-availability, fault-tolerant distributed systems

Requirements
Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot), Microservices, Distributed Systems
Experience with Apache Kafka / event-driven architectures
Solid knowledge of databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, YugabyteDB, KDB+
Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Copilots, AI code assistants)
Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
Familiarity with API gateways (Kong, NGINX)
Strong understanding of performance tuning, concurrency, resilience patterns

Key Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience building large-scale payment / banking systems
Strong background in real-time, mission-critical applications
Experience managing high transaction volume systems
Ability to balance AI-driven productivity with engineering rigor
Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred
Experience in IMPS / AEPS / NETC / CTS or similar payment platforms
Exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven ecosystems
Experience in up-to-date engineering practices and DevOps environments
