Role & responsibilities
Execute and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure maximum plant uptime.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring mechanical issues and drive reliability improvements.
Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, shutdowns, and annual maintenance activities.
Maintain critical equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ensure availability of spare parts and optimize maintenance costs.
Supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring timely and quality execution of maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and statutory requirements during maintenance activities.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and documentation through SAP/CMMS.
Support installation, commissioning, modification, and continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
