About Us

Les Amis Café | Gelateria | Pâtisserie is looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef – Pâtisserie to support our Head Chef and oversee daily pâtisserie and bakery operations.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing pâtisserie, bakery, and dessert menus.
Oversee daily production of pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and viennoiseries.
Maintain consistency, quality, presentation, and portion standards.
Manage mise en place, production schedules, and ingredient usage.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Train, guide, and supervise the pâtisserie team.
Manage inventory, ordering, and raw material usage.
Support the development of new and seasonal products.
Ensure timely execution of customer orders, events, and special requirements.
Handle production and operational responsibilities in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in pâtisserie, bakery,



or a dessert kitchen.
Strong knowledge of pâtisserie, bakery, and dessert production.
Experience in café or similar kitchen operations is preferred.
Positive knowledge of modern dessert trends and techniques.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
High attention to detail, quality, and consistency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Culinary Arts / Bakery & Pâtisserie qualification is preferred.
