Role & responsibilities
Monitor and implement infection prevention and control practices across all departments.
Conduct regular infection control rounds and audits.
Monitor hand hygiene, PPE usage, biomedical waste management, and environmental hygiene.
Support surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
Conduct infection control training and awareness sessions for hospital staff.
Maintain infection control records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with clinical and support departments regarding infection control issues.
Assist in investigation and management of infection outbreaks.
Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies and applicable standards.
Participate in infection control committee meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant hospital experience.
Experience in Infection Prevention & Control preferred.
Valid nursing registration.
Positive communication, observation, documentation, and analytical skills.
