Programming:
Use CAD/CAM software (like AutoCAD or specialized macro software) to write and optimize cutting programs.
Read and understand complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensions (GD&T;)

Machine Setup & Operation:
Set up the WEDM machine, thread the wire, and adjust cutting settings (voltage, speed, and tension) for different metals.
Select the right type and size of wire for the job.

Quality Control:
Check finished parts using precision tools like Vernier callipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Ensure parts meet the required size and smooth surface finish

Maintenance:
Clean and perform daily upkeep on the machine.
Troubleshoot wire breaks or minor machine errors during cutting

Requirements

· Hands-on experience programming and running CNC Wire EDM machines.

· Positive computer skills using CREO, Fikus. Auto CAD software to design and generate cutting paths.

· Working knowledge on Super Drilling Machine
