Job Purpose
This is a leadership opportunity to drive manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, localisation and commercial growth in India along with execution of the company's long-term expansion strategy.

Company Background
A European MNC in the hydraulics and industrial components manufacturing sector with existing India business of approximately INR 10 Crores

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall development of the India business.
Execute the local business plan aligned with company strategy.
Represent the company with customers, suppliers and institutions.
Manage production ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Industrialize recent products transferred from Europe.
Support sales growth and long-term customer relationships.
Develop Indian suppliers for global sourcing.
Implement localization and cost reduction initiatives.
Build and manage a local engineering team supporting European R&D.;




Full P&L; responsibility including revenue, EBITDA, cash generation and working capital.
Promote a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with company EHS standards.
Recruit, develop and motivate the local team.

Candidate Profile
Engineering degree.
10–15+ years of industrial leadership experience.
Robust manufacturing and operations background.
Experience in hydraulics, off-highway or precision industrial components manufacturing.
Previous experience in the design, manufacturing or commercialization of hydraulic valves and fluid power components is highly desirable.
Must have Greenfield/ Brownfield factory expansion experience.
Proven P&L; management.
Leadership and commercial skills.
