Job Description – Maintenance Engineer ( Semi – Automatic & Automatic Machines)

· Experience: 3–7 years preferred

· Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability and protected operation of automatic and semi-automatic production machines used in transformer manufacturing.

The engineer will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, machine improvement and maintenance planning, with the objective of minimizing machine downtime .

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance

Prepare and implement daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance schedules.

Carry out regular inspection of machines and identify potential failures before breakdown.

-Maintain preventive-maintenance records and machine history.

Breakdown Maintenance





Attend machine breakdowns immediately and restore production safely and quickly.

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic problems.

Maintain breakdown reports with problem, root cause, corrective action and recurrence-prevention action.

Maintain critical spare-parts inventory.

The candidate must have a positive understanding of basic maintenance concepts, including:
