Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer with solid hands-on expertise in dbt (data build tool) and

Snowflake to design, build, and optimize scalable data transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a

solid background in SQL-based data engineering, data quality practices, and contemporary ELT workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Transformation: Design and implement staging, core, and mart layers in dbt by writing robust, productive,

and modular SQL.

• Pipeline Management: Build, orchestrate, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using dbt alongside cloud

data warehouses like Snowflake.

• Testing & Data Quality: Develop and maintain dbt tests (schema, data, and custom tests) to ensure integrity,

accuracy,



and reliability of data assets.

• Documentation & Lineage: Continuously update dbt documentation to map data lineage, define business

rules, and share knowledge across technical and non-technical teams.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate dbt projects with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions,

Azure DevOps) to validate and automate code deployments.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries, dbt models, and data warehouse usage to reduce compute

costs and improve execution time.
