Job Summary
The Support Engineer (SRE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of IT systems and services. They will work closely with development teams to improve the system architecture, enhance monitoring and alerts, and automate operational tasks. The primary objective is to maintain system uptime, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with software developers to implement, and optimize system architecture for scalability and reliability.
Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
Automate routine operational tasks using scripting or programming languages.
Respond to and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Perform system upgrades, configuration changes, and capacity planning to support business growth.
Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Skill Requirements




Knowledge of scripting languages like python, bash, or powershell.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as aws, azure, or google cloud.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like nagios, prometheus, or elasticsearch.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like docker and kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as terraform or cloudformation.
Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Valuable communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Other Requirements
1.Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer would be a plus.
