HVAC DESIGN & PLANNING ENGINEER

Salary is as per candidate

Role Objective: Responsible for HVAC design development, engineering coordination, planning, quantity validation and technical support to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC design and engineering solutions based on project requirements, specifications and applicable standards.

• Prepare/review cooling load calculations, equipment selections, air quantity calculations and system sizing.

• Prepare and review HVAC layouts, ducting, piping and equipment arrangements.

• Develop project execution plans, engineering schedules and procurement/installation requirements.

• Coordinate design with architecture, structure, electrical, fire fighting, plumbing and other MEP disciplines.

• Review shop drawings and ensure design intent is correctly translated into site execution.

• Prepare BOQ/quantity inputs and support estimation and procurement teams.





• Track engineering deliverables, approvals and design changes against project schedules.

• Provide technical support to site teams for design clarifications and construction issues.

• Assist in testing, commissioning, balancing and final project handover.

Qualification & Experience

• BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience in HVAC design and project planning.

• Positive understanding of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled-water systems, ventilation and equipment selection.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit MEP/HAP or other HVAC design software is an advantage.
