Intermediate Quality Engineer API & UI Automation L6

Required Skills:
58 years of experience in Software Testing with solid focus on API and UI automation.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Postman (API testing) and Playwright (UI automation).
Robust programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript for automation development.
Experience in building end-to-end automation frameworks covering API and UI.
Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and authentication (OAuth, JWT).
Experience validating JSON/XML payloads and API contracts.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with SQL/databases for backend validation.
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Experience in cross-browser testing.
Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Kibana).

Nice to Have:
Experience with Layer7 or API gateway platforms.
Exposure to authentication systems (OAuth, IAM, SSO).




Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
Experience in Banking/Financial domain.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end testing across API and UI layers.
Validate API-driven business logic including authentication flows.
Automate UI workflows using Playwright for user journey validation.
Build automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
Develop reusable automation scripts for regression and integration testing.
Perform data validation across API, UI and databases.
Execute automation in CI/CD pipelines.
Perform root cause analysis of defects.
Support Layer7 migration validation including API comparison and regression.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
Improve automation coverage and testing processes.
Document frameworks and testing approaches.
