Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized University.
OR
Desirable: Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics / Applied Physics from a recognized University.
OR
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with relevant Physics laboratory experience may also be considered as per University requirements.
Work Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in relevant area of industry/educational institutions offering degree/diploma courses in Engineering.
Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in handling Physics laboratories in Engineering Colleges, Universities, Polytechnic Institutes, Research Laboratories, or Scientific Organizations.
Job Description:
The Laboratory Assistant – Engineering Physics shall be responsible for supporting academic, laboratory, and technical activities of the Engineering Physics Department.




Key Responsibilities:
Assist faculty members and students during practical sessions, laboratory demonstrations, experiments, and project activities.
Prepare and arrange laboratory setups, experimental apparatus, materials, and instruments required for conducting practical experiments.
Assist in conducting and maintaining Engineering Physics laboratories including:
Optics Laboratory
Fiber Optics Laboratory
Laser Physics Laboratory
Semiconductor and Electronics Laboratory
Up-to-date Physics Laboratory
Material Science Laboratory
Quantum Physics Laboratory
Mechanics and Oscillation Laboratory
Physics Measurement and Instrumentation Laboratory
Operate, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of laboratory instruments such as:
Spectrometers
Optical benches
Laser experimental setups
Photodiodes and sensors
Semiconductor testing equipment
Digital and analog measuring instruments
Oscilloscopes an
