Key ResponsibilitiesCNC Machine Operators perform a variety of tasks to ensure effective and accurate production:
Machine Setup and Operation: Configure CNC machines, load raw materials, install and calibrate tools, and adjust machine settings such as cutting speed, tool pressure, and depth of cut to match part specifications.
Programming and Monitoring: Translate technical instructions and blueprints into computer commands, program machines, and monitor operations to maintain quality and efficiency.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards, perform tests during production, and make real-time adjustments as needed.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance, clean machines, perform minor repairs, and report significant malfunctions.
Documentation: Maintain production logs, quality records, and machine operation reports.
Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, wear protective equipment, and ensure a secure work environment.
