Dialing in espresso: Calibrating grind size, dose weight, and extraction time each morning to ensure consistent flavor.
Crafting specialty drinks: Pulling consistent shots and custom-building lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, and flat whites.
Milk texturing: Steaming milk to exact temperatures and microfoam consistencies required for different beverage types.
Pouring latte art: Creating visually appealing patterns like hearts, tulips, or rosettas for presentation.
Alternative brewing: Preparing manual filter coffees using pour-over, Chemex, AeroPress, or cold brew workflows.

Customer Service & Hospitality
Welcoming guests: Greeting customers warmly upon entry to establish an inviting atmosphere.
Menu education: Explaining flavor profiles,
