At Wilderness Home Jibhi, food is not merely a service—it is a story told on a plate, a quiet conversation between the mountains and the guest. We are seeking a Chef who can translate local wisdom, seasonal produce, and thoughtful hospitality into memorable culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals for in-house guests, with a focus on Indian, Himachali, and comfort global cuisine.
Design seasonal menus aligned with guest profiles, occupancy patterns, and availability of local ingredients.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with hospitality best practices.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control, cost management, and minimal food wastage.
Coordinate with the operations team to cater to special dietary requirements and curated guest experiences.
Mentor and guide kitchen helpers, fostering a calm, disciplined,



and team-oriented kitchen culture.

Desired Profile:
Prior experience as a Chef or Cook in a boutique hotel, homestay, retreat, or similar setup.
Sound knowledge of Indian cooking techniques; familiarity with local Himachali cuisine is an advantage.
A composed qualified who thrives in a slow, mindful hospitality environment rather than high-volume chaos.
Respect for nature, sustainability, and community-based tourism values.

This role is ideal for a chef who believes that good food is honest, soulful, and best served with humility—much like the Himalayas themselves.
