Material Gate Entry Executive / Officer

Location: Steel Manufacturing Plant
Reporting To: Stores / Logistics / Admin Head

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate, controlled, and timely entry of all incoming materials and vehicles at the plant gate, with proper verification of documents, ERP/system entries, weighment coordination, and compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Experience in a steel manufacturing / industrial plant is preferred.
Working knowledge of ERP, Gate Entry, and Weighbridge systems.
Basic knowledge of PO, Invoice, Delivery Challan, E-Way Bill, and weighment documents.
Good coordination skills with Security, Stores, Purchase, QC, Finance, Logistics, and Transporters.
Enter material and vehicle details accurately into ERP/software or the Gate Entry Register.
Generate material gate entry numbers
Immediately report discrepancies to Stores, Purchase, Finance, Security,



or the concerned HOD.
Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel and ERP software.
Robust attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
Ability to work in shifts and under plant operating conditions.

Accuracy of material and vehicle gate entries.
Zero unauthorized material/vehicle entry.
Timely verification of supporting documents.
Accuracy of weighment and ERP records.
Proper maintenance of gate entry documentation.
Timely reporting of discrepancies.
Compliance with plant safety and security procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
