Job Title: Food Delivery Driver

Department: Delivery Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

A Food Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up food orders from restaurants or kitchens and delivering them safely and promptly to customers. The role requires excellent time management, customer service skills, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Pick up food orders accurately from restaurants, cafes, or kitchens.
Deliver orders to customers within the specified time.
Verify order details before leaving the pickup location.
Handle food packages carefully to maintain quality and presentation.
Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently.
Collect cash payments (if applicable) and provide receipts.
Maintain qualified and courteous communication with customers.
Report delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to management.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.




Keep delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.

Requirements
Valid driver's license.
Own vehicle (bike, scooter, or car) if required.
Good knowledge of local routes and navigation apps.
Basic smartphone skills for using delivery applications.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work adaptable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
