Position: Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Experience: 4–5 Years in Feed Manufacturing Plant

Job Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of feed plant machinery, including Pellet Mills, Vertical Pulverizers, Mixers, Bucket Elevators, Conveyors, Crumblers, Plansifters, and other mechanical equipment.
Attend emergency machine breakdowns and perform repairs to restore production with minimum downtime.
Dismantle, inspect, repair, and assemble electrical motors, gearboxes, bearings, couplings, shafts, and other rotating equipment.
Perform replacement of bearings, seals, chains, sprockets, belts, and other mechanical components.
Reassemble equipment after maintenance, start machines, and observe their mechanical operation to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Carry out routine inspection, lubrication, alignment, and condition monitoring of plant machinery.




Coordinate with the Production and Electrical Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment abnormalities to the Maintenance Engineer.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit systems, and positive housekeeping practices.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience in maintenance of feed plant machinery.
Good knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, motors, conveyors, elevators, and power transmission systems.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures independently.
Experience in equipment dismantling, assembly, alignment, and overhauling.
Basic understanding of welding and fabrication is an added advantage.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.

Preferred Candidate Profile
ITI (Fitter / Mechanical) with 4–5 years of relevant experience in an Aqua Feed, Poultry Feed, Animal Feed, or similar manufacturing industry.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team player with a strong commitment to safety and maintenance excellence.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
