Job post : - Estimation Engineer – Mechanical Fabrication

Key responsibilities :-
Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents for estimation purposes.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, columns, piping, and fabrication jobs.
Perform material take-offs, BOM preparation, weight calculations, and raw material costing.
Estimate fabrication hours, welding consumables, machining, painting, testing, and outsourced activities such as UT, RT, PWHT, and other NDT processes.
Prepare techno-commercial quotations in coordination with design, production, purchase, and sales teams.
Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and incorporate them into final project costing.
Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical project data for future reference.




Identify cost optimization prospects while maintaining quality and technical requirements.  Support management during technical discussions and client negotiations by providing required clarifications.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of project scope, costing, and delivery requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2–4 years of experience in estimation, proposal engineering, fabrication costing, or heavy engineering industry.

Experience in process equipment, pressure vessel, or fabrication industry preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
